Hamm: The Climate
The climate around North-West Germany is similar to the one you're going to find in the British Isles, the North of France, Belgium, the Netherlands, or Denmark.
It is characterized by an overwhelming amount of precipitation, rain most of the time. The winters tend to be relatively mild, whereas the summers around here are not too hot.
Temperatures in the three-digit range are hardly to occur in most of the years. But even in summer, there is a tendency to high relative humidity, to rain and thunderstorms.
